Programme Update: December 2018
In November the site has switched over to the project’s permanent substation. The school’s internal works continue to progress well with ceiling installation underway, walls receiving their first coat of paint and the finished doors to the classrooms being installed. The tower’s cladding panel install has reached Level 28, whilst internal works to form the new apartments continue on the floors below. The Nile Street Block’s cladding works are now visible above the scaffolding, and internal wall construction is underway to form the new apartment walls with electrical and plumbing works following on behind.
During December, the school’s courtyard landscape works will commence as the internal works continue. The tower’s cladding panel install will be completed and the apartment internal works will continue. Scaffold dismantle will continue on the Nile Street Block in conjunction with the façade works, whilst building of apartments continue. Excavation works will take place to connect the project’s new drainage into the existing sewer in Nile Street.
Community Engagement
